Challenger

Mika dreams of becoming a great boxer, to honour his father’s memory and finally taste the glory that has so eluded him. Unfortunately, for the time being, he’s just a clerk in a shabby restaurant and has to make do with the shabby little fights organised for him by his manager and best friend, Stéphanie.

But one day, fate knocks on their door and Mika gets the chance to fight Freddy Elombé, a contender for the European title, in a fixed fight. Nothing goes according to plan and Mika lays Freddy out with a masterful uppercut.

It’s the start of a media whirlwind that will propel our heroes to the top of Europe and make them the challengers!
